    If you have researched the Clagget or Claget family history for any length of time, you have undoubtedly heard of the work of Brice Clagett of Maryland. Brice, a Washington lawyer for more than 40 years, and an avid genealogist, died April 8, of cardiac arrest at George Washington University Hospital. The house stayed in the Brice family until the s, when it was purchased by the Martin family, and in it was bought by the proprietors of the nearby Carvel Hall Hotel. St. John’s College acquired the house in and converted it to faculty apartments. Stanley and Helen Wohl bought it in and restored it to single-family use.
